Annie's an old hand at this sailing lark !  (although age is just a number you know!)

One of Annie's all time favourite sayings is life's too short .....so just get out there and have a go! Another one is...so many buoys, so little time!! ....so you can guess if she is your skipper, you will have lots of fun!

Annie started sailing well over 20 years ago in Australia completely by accident and so is passionate about encouraging more women onto the ocean to be happy and safe.

Seriously though...as the Principal of the GFS RYA school, and as a Yachtmaster Instructor having sailed over 50000 (stopped counting many moons ago) she is fastidious about safety. "We have golden rules on board such as "we are a calm boat at all times"and "theres no such thing as a stupid question" she says........

Rounded of by `'we love to have fun whilst sailing and yet we are safe as houses, ladies! Don't delay, try sailing today....you will not regret it!"

She is also proud that we have been responsible to date for 4 weddings!!

Jo would not have been seen dead on a yacht a few years ago - not glamourous enough you know!!

Now...she has brought glamour to girlsforsail! We have a little section in our saftey brief about the best way to look your best at seas...at all times! And the clothing of yesteryear no longer exists - we like to sail well...and look great too!

Pip has worked tirelessly for well over a year to bring to the calendar an array of exciting events. She is in charge because she is great with people - patient and kind and caring - she really wants to make sure you are looked after ashore! The skippers take care of you after this!!

She has also fallen in love with sailing and, when we let her away from the PC, enjoys nothing more than a few peaceful days offshore!! Don't ya Pips!!

I love sailing!!  And I love racing against the boys. I have been fortunate in my career, having met fantastic people and gained many experiences.  I have competed in amazing offshore races: three Fastnets, two Middle Sea Races, one Round Britain and Ireland, and one Trans-Atlantic!!   

Zoe used to work in the city....but the sparkling city lights could not hold the attention of this inspirational young lady.

She headed off to gain all of her qualifications and is one of the calmest chirpiest skippers we have had the pleasure to work with.

As the crew on a hen weekend said July 2009 "Zoe was amazing..........."

Ok...perhaps not the best shot of our Elizabeth but she is one of our newest talents!

The recent delivery crew have nicknamed her "brains"....because they couldn't find anything she didnt know about.

On one particular watch the crew went through an amazing array of subjects from autohelms to constellations....only to be truly educated. 

She's a true example of one of the most petite female experts we sail with who can hold her own in a storm.

Go Liz!! Enjoy the next transatlantic ........and a new sextant perhaps!
