About the event
This exciting event is the first offshore race to circumnavigate the Caribbean Islands.‘10 legs and 600 Nautical Miles of racing in fantastic trade wind conditions will test navigators and crews in equal measure!’
The race begins in Fort Charlotte, just outside English Harbour in Antigua. Heading north, the fleet will pass a mark off Barbuda, Nevis, Saba and St Barth's before circling St Maarten and heading south for Guadeloupe. Finally you will head back north to a mark off Barbuda, returning to Antigua for the finish.
The RORC Caribbean 600 is designed to give a challenging offshore yacht race - only one of the rounding marks is not an island; the North Sails mark, off the South West tip of Barbuda. It should be a scenic and exciting race for every single participant.
The professional crew will train you to ensure that the racing is safe, fun and that each crew member is able to make a valuable contribution to the team effort. Although prior race or sailing experience is preferred, it is not essential. The 2 training days represent a great opportunity for each crew member to get familiar with the yacht and the racing manoeuvres.

We use handpicked RYA qualified and commercially endorsed skippers who are selected for their calm manner, immense experience and professional ability to coach and challenge you as an individual on every event. And, we promise you will be delighted with their wonderful personalities!
Other activities:
Post-racing parties are planned for the last night providing an excellent opportunity to swap stories over a few drinks. The fun is non stop and the buzz is really exhilarating! If you plan a few extra days stay then their are loads of amazingly beautiful places to swim, snorkel and visit.
