This is a RORC event in association with the Royal Yacht Squadron.
This is a very popular race as it’s a ‘flexi-course’ which means the race can go anywhere within in the channel, and generally finishing back in the Solent.
The race will be designed to last between 24-36 hours, so you will be racing overnight and get a feel for passage sailing.
It’s a fun exhilarating race as you leave the Solent with a fleet of racing boats heading for the first mark.
This is what makes this race so great, you are out in the English Channel having to find marks and round them to the best of your advantage.
