About the event:

The RYA (Royal Yachting Association) courses, leading to certification, can be taken over minimum of 5 days (either continuous or consecutive weekends).

Girlsforsail offers regular:

• Competent Crew Practical(001)
• Day Skipper Practical(002)
• Day Skipper Theory(005)
• Coastal Skipper Practical(003)
• Yachtmaster Practical(004)*
• Yachtmaster Theory(006)
On the first evening, after meeting your fellow crewmembers, you'll spend time familiarising yourself with the yacht and going over safety procedures.  Over the next 5 days your RYA qualified skipper will take you through the RYA syllabus, enabling you to earn your certificate and learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

 Other activities:*Yachtmaster is 7 days.

 We ensure all our courses are taught in a positive and encouraging way, giving you plenty of hands-on experience and allowing you to learn and enjoy yourself at the same time!  The courses are more intense than our fun weekends. We will cover the whole syllabus for all of the members

Subject to the how much of the course you have covered we either drop the anchor and stay aboard or some evenings we'll head into town for  a combination of fun and relaxation  visiting the lively bars & restaurants in the area.
