Welcome to Girlsforsail!! Encouraging women of all ages to sail for over 10 years!

We are the leading providers of RYA sailing courses for women both in the UK and the Caribbean. In fact, we are the only accredited RYA Sailing School in St Lucia! We also offer a huge variety of sailing holidays, racing regattas, Atlantic Ocean Adventures, Day sails and fun weekends.  Our primary base is located in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in the U.K. and we are an accredited RYA training centre so whether you are a complete beginner who wants to start yachting and learn to sail, a competent dingy sailor or an experienced yachtsman or racer, girlsforsail offers a wide range of RYA sailing courses for women and a great range of sailing holidays.

We offer RYA Competent crew courses, RYA Day Skipper courses, RYA Day Skipper theory courses both classroom based or online.  We sail both out of Cowes, Southampton (ideal if you are commuting from London) and the whole Solent. We can tailor make a package to suit you. In fact, we can help you attain all your RYA certificates right through to RYA Yachtmaster! 

We also love to race and we encourage women of every age and level to join us in some of the biggest yacht race Regattas in the UK and Caribbean.  Whether it be Cowes week, JP Morgan Round The Island Race, Cork week Regatta, Antigua Race week, BVI Regatta, ..... you name it and we'll be there.

In the winter months we are based in the gorgeous Caribbean (St Lucia) where we offer opportunities for you to brush up on your sailing skills, Race in some of the World's most famous Regattas or just join us for a cruise around the Islands.

We also specialise in Career Breaks for women.  An opportunity to spend some quality time and find the 'real you', brush up on your racing skills or just lie by the pool at our Girlsforsail house in St Lucia. 

Established in 1999, Girlsforsail was created with the aim of introducing as many women as possible to the wonderful world of sailing. Due to the lack of sailing events on offer for women,  Annie, the founder, was convinced that she could produce a variety of competitively priced sailing events for women .

 
We ARE different.  We pride ourselves on being unique. Our repeat custom speaks for itself.  3,000 women can't be wrong.
